Suggestions For Parents, Staff And Community To Contribute To The Riverdale Art Classroom
Hello All! Thank you for your interest in supporting the arts program here at Riverdale. One of my philosophies is that art is found within the every day object. Objects which may seem useless could ultimately prove to be an inspiration for others. With this in mind, the students at Riverdale ask for simple donations from our supportive community so that we can create amazing artworks. - sewing needles, thimbles, and thread - fabric and fabric scraps (we could also use worn out clothing for fabric arts) - styrofoam (sheets, cups, plates, ect) - crafting / metal wire (this can be very expensive without donations) - plastic bottles - aluminum foil - face paint - thin cardboard - small objects that could make found sculptures (little metal/plastic peices) - ANY used art supply would be greatly appreciated. (paints, paint brushes, paper, tracing paper, canvases, easels, brayers, sponges, ect) The rule is: if you think that an artist could make something out of it, Riverdale artists will find a way! Please contact me if you have any supply you would like to donate to this program. Thank you all for your amazing involvement to make sure our kids get the best arts experience!
